Privacy Policy
The free image-metadata and invisible-text tools run in your browser and require no account. Optional Deep Clean requires an account and server upload. One-time credit packs are processed by Stripe; WatermarksRemover.co does not offer subscriptions or automatic renewal.
Section 01
Files and text processed locally
Images selected for the free scan and clean are read by code running in the current browser tab. The operation does not upload the selected image to our server. Text entered in the invisible-character tool is likewise processed in the browser and is not sent to perform the cleanup.
The browser may create temporary in-memory or object URLs so it can preview and download a result. These are local to the browser session. Replacing the file, clearing the tool, closing the tab, or normal browser memory management removes that temporary working state. The cleaned download is saved wherever you choose on your device.
Section 02
Information a website request can still disclose
Like other websites, the hosting and security systems can receive ordinary request information when a page loads, such as IP address, time, requested path, browser or device information, referrer, and diagnostic or abuse-prevention data. This information is separate from the image or text you process locally.
We may use logs and essential storage to deliver pages, maintain an authenticated account, remember analytics choices, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and reconcile paid tasks. An account can contain an email address, OAuth provider identifier or magic-link record, credit balance, payment references, Deep Clean task history, and security timestamps. Free local tools do not require sign-in.

Product analytics boundaries
If limited product analytics is enabled, it may record a page route, broad file type, rounded file size or megapixel band, selected tool mode, completion state, and non-sensitive error code. It must not include the image or text content, prompt text, GPS coordinates, original filename, user image URL, or full C2PA manifest.
Analytics is used to understand whether the public tools function and which errors need repair. It is not used to train an image model on the files processed in the browser.
Section 04
Deep Clean uploads, results, and payments
When you choose Deep Clean, the authorized image is uploaded to our object storage and sent to an AI image-processing provider. We store a server-verified hash, dimensions, file type, size, source reference, mode, strength, quote, task state, and result reference. The source stops being available for retry after 24 hours and is removed by the cleanup process. A reduced comparison preview and generated result can remain in account history until you delete the account or request deletion.
Stripe hosts checkout and handles card details. We receive payment, checkout, price, credit-grant, refund, dispute, and reconciliation identifiers needed to deliver one-time credits. We do not receive a full card number or security code. Purchased credits do not expire; no subscription or automatic renewal is offered. Deep Clean is unavailable in the EEA while its provenance review remains incomplete.
Section 05
Your choices and security
You can use the free tools without an account. You may clear local input, decline optional analytics, delete downloads from your device, and delete a signed-in account from the account page. Account deletion removes account records and requests deletion of owned uploads and generated objects, subject to records we must retain for fraud prevention, payment reconciliation, disputes, tax, or law.
No browser or server system eliminates every security risk. Do not process official identity, evidentiary, financial, medical, or similarly sensitive records. Privacy requests can be sent to the published support address; provide enough information to locate relevant server records without attaching the processed image or full payment-card data.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service or law changes. A new effective date will appear here. Material changes apply prospectively as required by law.
