An invisible image watermark can refer to either hidden file metadata or a pattern embedded in pixels. Start with the free browser scan: it can report and remove supported EXIF, GPS, XMP, IPTC, AI-generation fields, PNG text, and recognized C2PA carriers without re-encoding the image. If the concern is a pixel-level signal, optional Deep Clean creates a new AI-assisted regeneration after sign-in. Supported removal types

Two workflows for two different storage layers

Quick Clean operates on file containers. It is free, browser-local, account-free, and lossless for encoded pixels. Use it for a camera tag, location, prompt, model name, workflow, Content Credential carrier, or other supported field. Its report distinguishes removed, preserved, and unreadable information.

Deep Clean operates on pixels. It sends one authorized static image to an AI provider and regenerates the picture from visual guidance. Standard is balanced and lower-cost; Precision allows a larger target and stronger guidance. Neither is a universal watermark eraser or detector-certified service.

How it works

Identify the layer before spending credits

The page puts the free scanner first because file metadata can be removed without a GPU task and should not be confused with a pixel watermark.

    Drop, paste, or select an authorized image. The browser scans the container and reports privacy metadata, AI-generation metadata, Content Credentials, and the limits of pixel-level verification.

    Run the free rights-preserving preset when the supported item is file-level. Download and review the clean report; the encoded pixel payload remains unchanged.

    For a pixel-level concern, sign in and upload one image. The server validates the contents, static-image status, dimensions, hash, file size, and regional availability.

    Choose a free center-crop preview or verify a full-image quote. The preview is limited to 512×512 and cannot stand in for a full-size paid output.

    Confirm ownership before the quoted full task. Credits are debited once before provider submission and automatically returned for a confirmed technical failure.

    Inspect the completed result at multiple zoom levels. Use the one no-charge retry on the same retained source if a mode switch or adjacent strength is appropriate.

Metadata vs pixels

A hidden field and an embedded pattern need different changes

Metadata lives in named or structured parts of an image container. Deleting a supported metadata block can leave the compressed JPEG scan data, PNG IDAT bytes, or WebP frame payload untouched. The clean report can therefore state that pixels were not re-encoded. A C2PA carrier also belongs to this file-level category even though its provenance semantics are richer than an ordinary tag.

A pixel-level watermark is part of the raster signal. Removing EXIF or taking the absence of a C2PA carrier as proof would be inaccurate. Deep Clean instead asks an image model to reconstruct the visible content. The result is a new image, so it can alter both an embedded pattern and ordinary visual detail. The service cannot verify every proprietary signal.

What is preserved

Quick Clean preserves pixels; Deep Clean preserves by guidance

Quick Clean preserves dimensions, orientation, ICC color, transparency, animation, and encoded pixels. Its default preset also protects recognized author, copyright, license, attribution, and rights-holder fields. Full Metadata Reset still preserves the technical image payload but may remove broader metadata only after an explicit permission confirmation.

Deep Clean is different. The provider is asked to preserve identity, composition, crop, colors, lighting, readable text, logos, texture, and detail, but it redraws pixels and may not follow every instruction. A comparison slider and zoom support direct review.

  • The original should be kept by the user outside the service
  • A reduced private source comparison is shown with the generated result
  • Server-verified original and output dimensions are displayed
  • The generated download is served only after it can be decoded safely

Limitations

Regeneration is not erasure proof

The service does not run every detector, promise a signal is absent, or guarantee a platform-label change. A provider can introduce artifacts, redraw words, shift faces or texture, or change framing. Standard and Precision describe guidance and size, not certainty. Reject results that change important content.

Deep Clean is unavailable in the EEA pending review. Animation and files above 16MP are rejected. The source is available for retry for 24 hours; results remain private until deletion. Preview covers only the center crop and can differ from the full result.

Questions about this tool

Should I use Quick Clean or Deep Clean?

Use Quick Clean for supported EXIF, GPS, XMP, C2PA, prompt, workflow, and other file-level metadata. Consider Deep Clean only for a pixel-level concern when you accept that the image will be regenerated.

Is the free preview a full result?

No. It is a real provider result capped at 512×512 for the center crop. It is intended to help evaluate the effect before a separate full-image purchase.

How is the full price calculated?

The server decodes the upload and calculates width × height ÷ 1,000,000. Standard costs 15, 25, or 40 credits and Precision costs 25, 40, or 65 across the up-to-4MP, over-4-to-8MP, and over-8-to-16MP tiers.

What if processing fails?

A confirmed technical failure automatically returns the task credits. A completed best-effort result is not considered failed merely because a visual preference or third-party detector differs.

Do credits expire or renew?

Purchased credits do not expire. Credit packs are one-time purchases with no subscription or automatic renewal.
